Chris Riendeau of Stamford Hospital challenged the Umbrella Club to match whatever the individual members contributed and if the club did, the Hospital would match that, amounting to a 3-1 return. We’re projecting donations to reach the 10K mark.

Helping a Stamford Family, February 8, 2012
When the Umbrella Club, a non-profit organization, heard the story of a 13-year-old boy who was born blind and without a nose, they unanimously decided to sponsor the family. At a fundraiser Wednesday night, February 8th, 2012, the family was honored and more money was raised for the mission of the club (helping children in need) with a raffle. Thirteen-year-old Jeffrey even chose the winning tickets for various prizes including a 2012 Ford Mustang. All 999 tickets at $100 a piece were sold out for the cause.
