What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic "shells" that are bonded to the front of each tooth, replacing natural enamel. What's the Process for Getting Porcelain Veneers?
During treatment, the teeth are lightly buffed in preparation for bonding, removing about a one-half millimeter of enamel. Then a mold of the patient's teeth is made so that we can customize each veneer. During the last phase of treatment, typically at the patient's second visit, we fit and bond the porcelain veneers to the teeth. The results of porcelain veneers treatment give patients bright, luminescent, and healthy-looking teeth.
